Downloading and Installing the Update
Like usual, you can update iTunes either by downloading the new version directly from Apple's web site at http://www.apple.com/itunes/download or simply choose the "Check for Updates" option in your existing version of iTunes.
The iTunes 10 download itself comes in at approximately 71MB for both Windows and Mac users.

- iTunes Store Changes:The most significant visual change in iTunes 9 is within the iTunes Store
- Genius:"Genius" now gets its own category between Devices and Playlists
- Downloads Status:downloads in progress now appear in the status panel
